Soledar is a small town where more than ten thousand inhabitants live. Most people are kind and helpful. Many of these people work in the salt mines and we ship the salt in almost all the countries of the former Soviet Union.
The town itself is very alive. There is a kindergarten, a secondary school, sports complex where you can enjoy many kinds of sport, a beautiful park, a market, shops, a hospital, a small stadium, office of Artemsol and company Knauf. Though Soledar is a small town but it is clean, green and well-groomed.
This town is a home for me even though I wasn't born here. People who are familiar to me (my family, my friends) live in Soledar. I got used to it and I would not like to leave it.
In my town everyone knows each other. The fact that it isn't big is an advantage, it is not necessary to run two or three kilometers to another store. But there are also some disadvantages. We haven't got those things that you can buy in a big city.
Soledar is very quiet but it is not having the best time now. There is a war and people are scared that they will have to leave their home town. And prices are usually higher than in the big cities.
But still it is a good town.
