Daniel Defoy wrote Robinson Crusoe in 1863. It is an adventure romance set in 20-th century in England. It was a best-seller when it came out and since then at least two films have been made of the book.
The story is about the simple man who wanted to be a sailor. His name was Robinson. When he got older he left home and became a sailor. On the way the ship got caught in a storm and it was destroyed. All the man were dead except him. He lived on the island for 30 years.
The plot is full of both action and adventure and the main characters are generally interesting. Robinson is kind and atracttive as well as brave. His friend Friday is also strong and good looking.
